THEIR STORY
Dedication and Service
The Angie & Avery Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was originally established in 2021 as a result a life taken senselessly. The life of Avery Clinton McQueen. The following year, we lost Andrea Michelle McQueen also known as "Angie" due to a chronic heart condition. Therefore, we decided to forge their names under one banner to honor their legacy.
The Angie & Avery Foundation Inc. has provided toiletries and winter clothing to over 100 homeless (men, women & children) school supplies and backpacks to over 250 children for back 2 school throughout Atlanta GA. Christmas gifts to over 200 kids throughout the United States, holiday cards to over 400 military troops deployed around the world, & 5 scholarships to HBCU students across the United States.

We are also preparing to choose one (1) recipient for the "For Your Glory" Child Care Grant up to $750 for one (1) child's day care bill in the month of November 2025 to honor Angie's Legacy. Angie opened her home for many years in the state of GA & SC to provide day care to help families in need, while also raising her own three (3) children.
Angie lost her life to chronic heart failure January 5th 2022. Angie was 37 years old. Her legacy and memory lives on through her children Jayden, Brooklyn, Michael, her mother Debra, sister Danielle, brother in law Edward, niece Destini, niece Amor, niece Peyton, niece Naihla, nephew Isaac, family and friends, and the families we serve.

Avery dedicated his life to helping to care for his nieces, nephews, and little cousins while serving his community. Whenever someone was in need and Avery could help, he did. His boss said that, "Avery was dependable." Avery was shot and killed December 17th 2020 at the age of 36. His legacy and memory lives on through his nephew Jayden, niece, Brooklyn, nephew Michael, his mother Debra, sister Danielle, brother in law Edward, niece Destini, niece Peyton, niece Naihla, nephew Isaac, family and friends, and the families we serve.
December 17th is a day that we honor (Avery’s) memory. Avery didn’t have an opportunity to have kids of his own but he not only loved and cared for his nieces/nephews but he was adored by his little cousins and other people’s kids as well.
His nieces and nephews never saw Avery like an uncle but more so a big brother. Avery loved kids and December 17th is a day of honor for a life taken senselessly. Avery was 35 years old with so much more life to live!
We also celebrate Avery's Legacy for when he decided to go back to school and get his GED. He was so happy that day! I can remember him walking out with both of his hands in the air "claiming victory" because he had passed his exam. His hands remind us to never give up!

We know that Avery & Angie are continuing to smile down on us and their memories are a light and a reminder to love and serve.
